New Leaf Tree Surgeons was started by Robin Teasdill in Marlow back in 1979. More than forty years on, Robin still runs the firm — only now he works alongside his three sons, Elliot, Felix and Jake. It's a proper family business: the people who quote your job are the ones who turn up and do it.
Over those decades the family has built up a deep, local knowledge of the trees around Marlow, Bourne End, Cookham and the surrounding villages — the species, the soils, the conservation areas and the quirks of working in tight town gardens. That experience is why customers keep coming back, and why New Leaf holds a perfect five-star rating on Google.
The work covers everything a garden needs: crown reductions and pruning, felling and removals, fruit and ornamental tree work, hedge trimming and topiary, stump grinding, garden clearance, tree supply and planting, and honest safety inspections. Every job is fully insured to £5 million — and everything we take away is recycled. Timber becomes logs and wood pellets, wood chippings go to local schools, allotments and equestrian yards, and leaf trimmings are mulched at a nearby farm. Nothing goes to landfill.
